Plants produce antioxidants to protect cells in tissues and their premature destruction triggered by exposure to heat, light, air, humidity and time.

When a person eats a large amount of herbs that contain antioxidants, with these natural medicines can protect body cells including skin cells. By eating certain foods, especially those that are brightly colored, you can reduce skin damage caused by exposure to UVA and UVB sunlight type.

The research showed that for people who have a medical history of skin cancer who consumed one serving of vegetables a day, the risk of developing new tumors decreased by 50%. Eat spinach cooked slightly to maximize the absorption of antioxidants (particularly vitamin E) and phyto-antioxidants such as beta carotene.

- Watermelon – Watermelon is rich in lycopene, which gives it the red color. Eat this delicious fruit for your skin to be protected from sunlight.

- Green tea – What does green tea for health? It improves cardiovascular function, it has demonstrated anticancer activity, supports the immune system, detoxifies the body, control weight and even protects the skin cells which were exposed to UVA and UVB rays. The secret ingredients are antioxidants that have a defensive role. For the day start well, drink green tea every morning.

- Cocoa – Cocoa is a very healthy substance which contains 712 compounds, many of whom have strong antioxidant and protective skin. Cocoa protects the heart, reduce risk of heart attack, stroke and prevent hypertension, but the same compounds offer a good protection for the skin cells. Eat organic dark chocolate and cocoa.

- Blue and purple berries – currants, blueberries, acai fruit, blackberries they all have in common? All these are rich in pigment that gives the purple color.
