Vitamin B6 helps formation of the baby’s nervous system and prevents morning sickness. Food sources of vitamin B6 are meat, fish, eggs, bananas and avocados.

Vitamin B9 or folic acid
Folic acid contributes to proper development of the embryo and fetus, with the purpose of preventing neurological and congenital problems of the baby. Folic acid is found in cereals, green vegetables (spinach, kale, etc.), liver, kidney, milk and eggs. In addition, it is scientifically proven that using folic acid supplements before and during pregnancy reduces the risk of neural tube defects.

Vitamin B12
Associated with folic acid to prevent the baby’s neurological problems, vitamin B12 plays an important role in DNA synthesis. Food sources of vitamin B12 are meat, fish, eggs and dairy products.
