Diet for the 5th Month of Pregnancy

At this stage of pregnancy, you slowly but surely get rounder, and the baby takes advantage of all the nutrients you give him. Continue integrating the essentials: vitamins, calcium, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. Fast or slow sugars contribute to fetal tissue and bring you the energy you need to compensate for fatigue caused by pregnancy.

Foods high in the carbohydrates: sugar, cereals, pulses, rice, pasta, potatoes, chickpeas, lentil

Menu for the 5h month

Breakfast:
- 1 cup of milk with cereals
- Bread with honey
- 1 grapefruit

Dnack:
- 1 yogurt
- 1 banana

Lunch:
- Grated carrots, with lemon juice and olive oil
- Roast Chicken
- Spaghetti with tomato sauce
- Lettuce
- Pudding

Snack:
- Rice pudding with milk

Dinner:
- Tomato salad with slices of ham and cheese
- Peaches
