Cleansing and detoxification

In general, fasting helps to improve health, reduce inflammation in the body and improves digestion. Most people do not take control blood sugar levels and thus interfere with dizziness and excessive hunger, which affects the ability to perform daily activities properly.

In a first step, natural detoxification spring will focus on the process of cleaning the body, not giving up food or by fasting. In essence, digestion is one of the most important processes for health and beauty. Therefore, cleaning stimulated by eating foods rich in fiber and nutrients, could be a first step in the detoxification process.

For this purpose, experts recommend:

- Reduce consumption of coffee. Appropriate would be to eliminate coffee for at least seven days. Coffee is a diuretic effect acid, which can have negative effects when a person wants to cleanse the body. Instead of coffee, you can drink green or white tea for antioxidant effect and eliminate the headaches that may occur as a result of giving up coffee.

- Increased consumption of colored foods. Fruits and vegetables are rich in fiber, contain many minerals, vitamins and phytonutrients that prevent and even help treat many diseases. From tomatoes to broccoli and blueberries, fruits and vegetables have a low glycemic index and will keep energy levels high while the body is cleansed of toxins.

- Increase consumption of lean protein such as egg whites, chicken or turkey, fish and soy, which can be added to any meal or snack. Proteins secrete glucagon – a hormone that helps burn fat faster. Avoid red meat and dairy for 5 days.

- Supplementing the diet with high amounts of multivitamin supplements containing fish oils and probiotics such as acidophilus. Acidophilus is a friendly bacteria that help maintain healthy digestive micro-flora. Healthy digestion and proper absorption of nutrients are some of the main aspects that determine your overall well-being.

- Add essential oils and fats in the diet. Among these, the healthiest would be flaxseed, sunflower seeds, olive oil, avocados and nuts oils – for anti-inflammatory effect.

- Drink eight glasses of water a day. Fresh, clean water helps in the cleaning process and stimulates the metabolism, giving a feeling of fullness and helps maintain a high level of energy.

It is recommended that these guidelines to be followed for a period of seven days at the beginning of each season, for detoxification. If you can’t make drastic changes in diet, seven days will try to eat as healthy. In this way, the body will be ready for a spring full of health and vitality.

The spring detoxification, it is important for a person to focus on high quality nutrition. Although the latest diet trends are often causes confusion as to what and how we should eat, there are four basic principles that must be followed to healthy eating for a good general condition and an enviable figure.

1. You are what you eat – people are indeed more than what they eat, but they eat can help, however, be much more than what they are. This statement is based on a deep truth, because the quality and quantity of food choices can have a major influence on mind and body.

There is a quite solid relationship and emotional chemistry between any person and the food they eat. By choosing quality nutritional products such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy products low in fat, and so on, your overall health will be better and many diseases can be prevented.

2. For high energy level is recommended the consumption of raw vegetables. Every adult needs a minimum of five to nine servings of colorful fruits and vegetables a day for optimal health and a beautiful silhouette. Fruits and vegetables not only contain a large amount of minerals and vitamins, but they also offer a rich blend of phytonutrients – chemicals that can prevent and even treat certain diseases. Examples of phytonutrients are: lycopene from tomatoes, flavonoids in dark chocolate, berries and grapes etc.

3. Body hydration is very important – After a deep analysis of food, often professionals find that their patients do not drink enough fluids. For detoxification, for normal digestion and the normal cell function, the body needs plenty of fluids. They may occur without a lot of symptoms such as constipation, lack of energy, weight gain and skin elasticity. Spring natural detoxification process will be supported by an adequate intake of fluids (water, herbal teas, diluted juice).

Food nutrients, which are considered to have healing role and can be included in the diet (in moderation) are red wine and dark chocolate (70% cocoa).

Fats are divided into good fats and bad fats for the body. The bad one should be removed from the diet because they are chemically created, called trans-fatty acids (also known as partially hydrogenated fats). These are introduced in the composition of food in order to prolong their life. However, are not healthy because these fats can raise cholesterol levels, contribute to the deposition of plaque in the arteries and can cause even some cancers.

For occasional use, without excess, are recommended saturated fats, which help minimize inflammatory reactions and are found in cheese, ice cream and red meat.

Fats necessary for hydration of the skin, hair and nails, are called essential fatty acids. They can’t be produced by the body and must be obtained from the daily diet. For example, essential fatty acid called omega-3 alpha-linoleic acid has proven to provide numerous health benefits, including:

- Reduce inflammation
- Reducing the risk of heart disease
- Lower cholesterol
- Improving the state of mind but also attention
- Maintaining skin health.

Sources of Omega-3

Omega-3 is a type of fat available in many dietary sources such as oil and flax seeds, cold-water fish (tuna, salmon), nuts and seeds. However, it is often difficult to eat enough food for the body to receive the ideal amount of omega-3. In addition, we investigate and present how safe is eating fish such as catfish or salmon, because although fish is a great source of protein, selenium, vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids, the toxicity pose serious issues related to its use.
