3. Electrolyte imbalance – An electrolyte imbalance can be caused by an insufficient intake of vitamins (which the body needs to function) in the diet. Low levels of vitamins can cause irregular heartbeat, confusion, changes in blood pressure and bone problems. High levels can cause muscle spasms, numbness and fatigue.

4. Muscle atrophy – This occurs when a person is hungry and to compensate, the body uses its own resources. In the process of self-preservation, the body will store fat in order to use it survive when necessary.

9. Osteoporosis – the reduction of bone density caused by a deficiency of calcium. When a person does not eat enough, he will not enjoy all the minerals and vitamins needed for healthy bones.
